What Makes Dr. Mike, Chiropractor in Frisco, Different?

Chiropractic is personal. Your chiropractor in Frisco should be personal too.
When people ask what makes CARE Chiropractic & Wellness different, I could talk about our affordable pricing, convenient visits, different adjusting techniques, or the additional services we offer.
But honestly, the first thing that comes to mind is much simpler:
I know my patients.
I’ve been a chiropractor in Frisco for more than 15 years, and I’ve had the privilege of caring for many of my patients for a significant portion of that time. Some have been coming to me for years. I’ve watched their kids grow up. I know their spouses and families. I know what they do for work, what sports their kids play, what activities they enjoy, and usually where they just went on vacation.
And they know plenty about me and my family too.
Over time, many of those relationships have become more than simply doctor and patient. There’s a genuine sense of friendship and community here.
That’s something I’m incredibly proud of, and it’s something I never want CARE to lose as we continue to grow.
Chiropractic Care Is Personal
Chiropractic is a very personal form of healthcare.
Think about it: you’re trusting someone to put their hands on you and adjust your neck, back, or another area that may already be painful or uncomfortable.
What I do involves a lot of trust and touch.
Some people walk into my office completely comfortable with being adjusted. Others are nervous, especially if they’ve never been to a chiropractor before. Some have had a bad experience somewhere else. Others are simply hurting and don’t want someone aggressively working on an already painful area.
I don’t take that trust lightly.
Being a good chiropractor involves more than knowing how to perform an adjustment. You have to know the person you’re adjusting.
After treating someone for years, I know how they like to be adjusted. I know which techniques tend to work best for them, which ones they may not like, areas we’ve had to be careful with in the past, and often what tends to cause their problems in the first place.
That familiarity matters.
You’re trusting me with your body and your health. I believe that deserves personal attention.
You’re a Person, Not a Number
One of the things I’ve never wanted CARE to become is a healthcare office where patients feel like numbers.
You shouldn’t feel like you’re being moved through an assembly line.
When you come in, I want to know what’s actually going on.
Maybe your lower back started hurting after working in the yard all weekend. Maybe you’ve been traveling. Maybe work has been crazy, and you’ve spent ten hours a day sitting at your desk. Maybe you played three rounds of golf, started a new workout, or slept terribly.
Sometimes we spend part of your visit talking about your kids, your job, your vacation, or something completely unrelated to chiropractic.
That’s okay too.
Those conversations are part of the relationships we’ve built here. And surprisingly often, knowing what’s happening in someone’s life gives me useful information about what’s happening with their body.
You’re not just the 10:30 appointment.
You’re a person I’ve gotten to know, and I want CARE to always feel that way.
There’s No Cookie-Cutter Adjustment
Just as every patient is different, every adjustment shouldn’t be exactly the same.
After more than 15 years of adjusting patients, I’ve developed a wide range of techniques and approaches. That experience allows me to change what I do depending on the person in front of me.
Some patients prefer a firmer adjustment. Others respond better to something gentler.
Some people need work in several areas. Others come in because one specific area is bothering them.
And what you need today may be different from what you needed at your last visit.
That’s where experience becomes important.
My goal isn’t to put every patient through the exact same routine. It’s to figure out what you need that day and provide the best adjustment I can.
I Don’t Believe in Overprescribing Care
I also don’t believe everyone who goes to see a chiropractor in Frisco needs to be put on a lengthy treatment plan.
There are absolutely situations where more frequent care is appropriate. Someone dealing with an acute injury, significant disc problem, or another complicated condition may need more care initially.
But not everyone does.
I want my recommendations to be based on what I genuinely believe you need—not on how many visits I can sell you.
If you’re improving quickly, we can reduce the frequency.
If you’re feeling great and like coming in periodically to stay that way, that’s fine.
And if you’re someone who prefers to come in only when something starts bothering you, we can work with that too.
I want chiropractic care to fit into your life. I don’t want your life to revolve around chiropractic care.
Flexibility Matters
Life doesn’t always cooperate with an appointment calendar.
Backs don’t check the schedule before they decide to flare up either.
That’s one of the advantages of being a small, locally owned practice. We try to be as flexible and accommodating as reasonably possible.
If an established patient wakes up and can barely move, we’re going to do our best to find a way to get them in.
If your schedule changes, we’ll work with you.
If you need to move an appointment around, we’re not going to make the process unnecessarily complicated.
I can’t promise we can accommodate everything, but we’ll certainly try.
Sometimes running a good healthcare practice isn’t complicated. It’s simply treating people the way you’d want to be treated.
Quality Care Should Still Be Affordable
Another thing I’ve intentionally tried to maintain is affordable pricing.
CARE is a cash-based practice. We don’t bill insurance, which allows us to keep things much simpler for both the patient and the office.
I also don’t believe that personalized, high-quality chiropractic care has to come with an enormous price tag.
I’ve worked hard to keep our pricing among the more affordable options in the area while still providing the level of care and attention I believe my patients deserve.
For individuals and families who choose to use chiropractic regularly, that can make a significant difference.
And affordable shouldn’t mean impersonal.
At CARE, I think you can have both.
More Than Just a Chiropractor in Frisco, I Live Here Too!
When I transitioned from Express Chiropractic Frisco to CARE Chiropractic & Wellness, I had an opportunity to really think about what I wanted this practice to represent.
That’s where the name CARE — Compassion, Alignment, Results, and Education — came from.
I didn’t want to change everything we’d built over the years.
Quite the opposite.
I wanted the freedom to preserve the things my patients already loved while continuing to improve the practice and make it truly our own.
The relationships were a huge part of that.
Today, I get to come to work and see people I’ve known for years. We talk about their families, their jobs, their kids, vacations, sports, and whatever else happens to be going on in their lives.
And somewhere in there, I get to adjust them too.
There are days when CARE feels as much like a community of friends as it does a business.
I wouldn’t want it any other way.
I love that I can be your chiropractor in Frisco, because it is my home too!
That’s What Makes CARE Different
There will always be bigger offices.
There will always be more complicated treatment systems and practices with more bells and whistles.
That’s not what I’m trying to build.
I want CARE Chiropractic & Wellness to be the neighborhood chiropractic office where you know your chiropractor—and your chiropractor knows you.
Where you can trust that I’ll recommend the care I believe you actually need.
Where your adjustment is based on you, not a predetermined routine.
Where we’ll do our best to accommodate you when life gets in the way.
Where chiropractic care remains affordable enough to be accessible to individuals and families.
And most importantly, where you’re treated like a person rather than a number on the schedule.
Because chiropractic care is personal.
I believe your chiropractic office should be too.
